DAVE SCHMIDT

Dave brings 24 years of experience in public education, spanning traditional high school settings and blended online learning environments. He has served in a wide range of leadership and instructional roles, including PE/Health Coordinator, high school academic counselor with a focus on post-secondary planning and NCAA Eligibility Center presentations, teacher (Health, Raptor Academy, and AVID), At-Risk Academy Coordinator, and varsity coach.

Through these roles, Dave has developed a deep understanding of the spirit of the district, its ability to inspire students to challenge themselves, and the powerful, positive impact it has on surrounding communities. His experience in instructional leadership, culturally responsive teaching, creating positive interventions, and building strong relationships with educational stakeholders enables him to contribute meaningfully to the success of any organization.
